Lele Kitchen marks Ulad Skoblia's first major project following five years of hosting a supper club at his Berkeley home. While pursuing his studies at UC Berkeley, Ulad held various front-of-house roles, yet his true passion has always been in the culinary side.
Having explored the theme of Eastern European nostalgia as a private chef, he decided to collaborate with a renowned bakery in Los Gatos to infuse the flavors of his homeland into the California farm-to-table cuisine.
After moving from Belarus to SF in 2013, Fedar spent his days soaking up the California sun and landed his first job at a restaurant bussing tables. His exposure to fine wine there sparked an interest that over the next 3 years would grow into a passion and career path.
In 2016 he passed the Court of Master Sommelier’s Intro Exam and has been studying and working his way through the Court, most recently earning the Advanced Sommelier Certificate in 2024. Fedar has held positions in management, as a Corporate Beverage Director for “Banjara Hospitality”, and as a Lead Sommelier at the “San Francisco Wine Society”.
His roots are firmly planted in California and believes the wines here can satisfy any palate, which is why he is focusing on an all-Californian beverage menu at his newest venture "Lelé Kitchen" in Los Gatos
After moving from Russia to the U.S. in 2018, Elena brought with her a lifelong love for baking and a dream of sharing her passion with others. Her journey began in 2016 when she started baking custom cakes from home, turning a creative hobby into a growing business.
In 2022, she opened her first café — a cozy space dedicated to handcrafted cakes and desserts. However, as word spread and demand grew, Elena quickly realized that the small café couldn’t keep up with her expanding vision. Just a year later, inspired by her passion for hospitality and desire to create a full culinary experience, she decided to build something bigger.
During the process of designing a new space, the idea for Lelé Kitchen was born — a farm-to-table restaurant blending California’s seasonal ingredients with flavors inspired by Elena’s Eastern European roots. Today, Lelé Kitchen is a place where guests can enjoy everything from freshly baked cakes to thoughtfully crafted dishes, all served with heart and a touch of home
